Our Commitment
The Fundacion Casa de Fe, was formed in 2005 to provide a loving, nurturing environment for neglected, abused, and abandoned children on the outskirts of the Amazon rainforest in Shell, Ecuador.
Our daily work in Ecuador is fulfilled in two casas (homes) that serve the needs of children and young adults at different ages. Casa de Fe (House of Faith) serves young children, and Casa de los Suenos (House of Dreams,) serves teens and young adults.
Casa de Fe (House of Faith) currently cares for around 45 children ages newborn to 17; many of whom have special medical needs. Unfortunately, many of the children that end up at Casa de Fe are behind in their emotional, physical, and mental development.
This is troublesome because they can no longer stay at Casa de Fe once they reach 18, even though many are not ready to function on their own. Casa de los Suenos (House of Dreams) was started in 2017 to provide a home and continued care for young adults as they turn eighteen and transition out of Casa de Fe and into society. Staying at Casa de los Suenos allows these young adults the opportunity to finish school and reach a better level of emotional maturity before becoming independent.
Hope Extended is the US supporting agency for Fundacíon Casa de Fe. It is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that was created to accept and disperse donations to Casa de Fe and Casa de los Suenos. Our board members in the United States serve under this nonprofit.

Our Mission
Believing that all children are created in God's image, Casa de Fe exists as an integral part of the body of Christ, and is focused on rescuing abandoned, abused, and special needs children. We provide for their physical, spiritual, and educational needs in a loving, supportive home environment, with the ultimate goal of assisting each of God's children to achieve his or her highest potential in His Kingdom.
