Javier/Anna/Gilmar/Luis

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights

of all who are destitute.  Speak up and judge fairly.

Defend the rights of the poor and needy.

Proverbs 31: 8-9

Testimonials

Javier 7, Ana 5, Gilmar 2 and Luis 10 months have a Guardian Angel.  Their 8- year-old brother died and caused the other family members to take notice of the fact that their mother was not capable of taking care of the her children. Javier is a bright, loving child who just wants to be a boy. Ana has been the mother of the group, a big job for a 5-year-old. Luis was crying the day after they arrived. She heard him and said “he is crying for me”. She is small for her age but I am sure will catch up fast, here. Gilmar seems to show the worst effects of malnourishment. He is small for his age, registering very low on the growth chart. His head is normal size, so with good nutrition he should bounce back. His hair is almost red, but this too shall pass, and he should have the same beautiful black hair that Javier has. Luis shows no signs of being malnourished, probably because he was still being breastfed. They are all beautiful children who deserve to be children for a little longer.
