Mateo is from a very loving family who don’t know how to help their son. He was born in the Rain Forest with 2 clubbed feet. One of which is correctable with just an orthopedic shoe and the other, which you can see here we are trying to straighten by putting on consecutive casts each one bringing his foot closer to straight. Mateo is 15 months old and is already trying to walk with one shoe and a cast. He has a beautiful smile and is challenging Rosa for everyone's attention. If the Lord can use a tax collector to write the first Gospel just think of all the things he has planned for this little Mateo.
